In this photograph, the amateur photographer Byron Prideaux, has managed to capture – through the posture and humble look of this priest – the sense of detachment and serenity associated with Zen Buddhism. Pictured wearing his Kesa, the classic silk garment of clergymen of the Buddhist faith, only adds to the aura of serenity this priest presents.
